| This page will help you to prepare files for color
separation using Adobe Photoshop. |
- Open your image in Adobe Photoshop.
- Convert your image to RGB color model.
From the Image Menu, choose Mode > RGB color
- If the image will be printed on dark t-shirts,
the image should have a black background.
- If the image will be printed on white or
light t-shirts, the image should have a white
background.
- Flatten All layers.
From the Layer Menu, choose Flatten Image, or
choose Flatten Image from the Layers palette
menu.
- Delete all paths and additional channels.
- The image should have a resolution between
150 and 220 pixel/inch at the final printed
size.
- Save your image in Photoshop PSD format.
- Please compress your file using the program
like WinZip or Stuffit.

- Give your files relevant names.
Rules for File Names:
"companyname_filename.zip" or
"firstname_filename.zip"
The file name should be 16 characters or less.
Do not use special characters in your file name.
(!, ?, $, #, %, &, ~, *, etc.)
