This page will help you to prepare files for color separation using Adobe Photoshop.
  1. Open your image in Adobe Photoshop.

  2. Convert your image to RGB color model.
    From the Image Menu, choose Mode > RGB color

  3. If the image will be printed on dark t-shirts, the image should have a black background.

  4. If the image will be printed on white or light t-shirts, the image should have a white background.

  5. Flatten All layers.
    From the Layer Menu, choose Flatten Image, or choose Flatten Image from the Layers palette menu.

  6. Delete all paths and additional channels.

  7. The image should have a resolution between 150 and 220 pixel/inch at the final printed size.

  8. Save your image in Photoshop PSD format.

  9. Please compress your file using the program like WinZip or Stuffit.

     Windows:  WinZip or Stuffit for Windows
     Macintosh:  Stuffit or DropStuff for Mac

  10. Give your files relevant names.

     Rules for File Names:
     "companyname_filename.zip" or "firstname_filename.zip"

    The file name should be 16 characters or less.

    Do not use special characters in your file name.
    (!, ?, $, #, %, &, ~, *, etc.)

Background (RGB value 0,0,0)

Background (RGB value 255,255,255)
